Common questions about your privacy rights

How long does it take to process my request?

Opt-out requests are processed within 15 business days. Access, deletion, and correction requests are processed within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we'll notify you and may take up to 90 days total.

Will opting out delete my data?

No, opting out only stops future sales/sharing of your data. Your information remains in our system unless you also submit a deletion request. Opting out also doesn't affect data already shared with third parties.

Can you delete data you already shared with insurance agents?

Once data has been shared with third parties (insurance agents, carriers, etc.), we cannot recall or delete it from their systems. You would need to contact those parties directly. However, we will delete data from our own systems and stop any future sharing.

How do you verify my identity?

We verify identity by matching the information you provide in your request with information already in our records (name, email, phone). For access or deletion requests, we may ask you to confirm additional details or click a verification link sent to your email.

What if my request is denied?

If we deny your request (in whole or in part), we'll explain why. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut have the right to appeal. Submit your appeal by emailing privacy@mylifematch.net with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line within 30 days.
